Canine Celebrities

If you happen to be one of those cute little canines that one of today’s celebrities carry around in their purse you are no doubt as much of a slave to celebrity fashion as is your owner.

Stars Who Know Better

Dressing your pet isn’t necessarily weird, depending upon what you dress them in. A few of the stars that are frequently seen with their little four legged friends that don’t go overboard on the style or fashion statement made by their dogs frocks are: Jessica Alba, Jake Gyllenhall and Mariah Carey. Cute but tasteful. Mike Weatherly and Tori Spelling also parade their canines in colorful, bright collars without drifting into the ridiculous.

Is The Celebrity Famous Or Is The Dog?

I’m not sure who’s more famous, Britney Spears or her dogs. There’s no doubt however that her dogs are better dressed. TinkerBell, Paris Hilton’s designer dog, is far more endearing than its owner. Every dog that has ever resided in the White House has achieved their own claim to fame and was probably far more popular than their owner. Okay, one more: guess what kind of dog Mariah Carey’s dog “Jack” is…… Jack Russell, duh.
When we say that someone should have known better think about this; dog wigs and dog spectacles. Seriously?

Engage Your Pet Physically

If you have a dog or two and complain that you just can’t think of how to lose weight at home I have only one thing to say to you. Are you nuts? Hello… Take the dog for a walk! (For the love of…)

Walking Is The Best Exercise

Here’s a news alert: you can burn up to 250 calories by walking your dog for 1 hour. Of course how many calories you burn depends on a number of factors. It depends on your body weight, the pace at which you walk, if you’re walking down, uphill or flat… And so on. And don’t forget to go to the dog park and build up those arm muscles with a little tug of war or throwing a stick or a ball around for your four legged exercise partner.

Get Yourself A Pedometer

If you can manage to walk your dog daily (stop whining about the weather and do it… The dog doesn’t care why do you?), wearing a pedometer while you’re walking will serve you in a number of ways. Walking a dog is also the answer to how to build muscle and lose fat… All at the same time. It takes muscle to walk; particularly if you walk briskly (which many of us will need to do to keep up with dog).

Get up off the couch and take your dogs for a walk. The dog certainly isn’t going to complain.

Safe and Healthy Ways to Stay Active with Your Pet

Just as you get older and are experiencing menopause and  weight gain, your pet is as well getting older. You need to make sure that you take care of your pet, so he or she can meet a happy healthy life.

Outdoor Activities With Your Pet

If you own a dog, then there is nothing better than taking your dog for a walk. Your dog will be getting all of the exercise they want, and also getting some fresh air. Keeping your dog inside all day is not healthy for your dog, and all they will end up doing is sleeping.

Indoor Activities With Your Pet

If your animal is small then you might be able to play a short game of tag. Some animals are very funny and very feisty and like to play tag with their owners. If you’re pet seems like they get the hang of it, then you are going to have a blast playing with your dog.
Animals are just as important as human beings. As an animal owner it is your responsibility to make sure that your dog or any pet is well taken care of.
